Hi Everyone!

Spring has sprung (at least here in sunny southern California, it has!), so I'm feeling good and have a few things I'd like to mention to you all today.

First order of business is to let you know that TODAY at midnight EST (not the 31st as previously announced) is the LAST day to vote for my song "102 (Songs About You)" for the People's Choice award in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition that the song is currently in the finals of. It's quick and easy to vote, just click the graphic below (or go to http://www.sonicbids.com/voting/default.asp?poll_id=277

) and give them a valid email and any birthdate, look for the verification email they send you at the address you enter and click the link out of the email to vote. Thanks in advance if you do take a few moments of your time and vote for it today before the deadline and special thanks to all who have already been voting for the song all month!

And speaking of "102 (Songs About You"), which if you've heard it at the voting site you'd know that it's a Country song which I wrote but am not singing on (the song was recorded in Nashville with a demo singer), I am very pleased to announce that a wonderful young singer (only 12, folks!) has recorded her own version of the song and it is now posted on her ReverbNation page. Her name is Charissa and I think there are BIG things in store for this little dynamo with the big voice! If you click her beautiful photo, you'll be directed to her ReverbNation page where she has the song posted. If you enjoy her version, please sign up as a fan to her page and let her know! Remember when she's a big star where you heard about her first! :-)

For those of you who are in the mood for a laugh today, head on over to this YouTube page to view the video "Phil Spector is Misunderstood":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ahi4OxvEgsY&fmt=18

This is not the REAL Phil Spector, though it sure does look like him (a bit younger version of him I would say, though!). This is George Frangides, who is obviously a
comedian and parody artist. Why am I promoting this, you ask? ALL the studio shots were filmed at my husband Skip Saylor's and my recording studio and yes, those are our gold and platinum records on the wall that "Phil" refers to in the video as being his. :-) Check it out!

While I'm on a roll here of promoting a few other people besides myself, I definitely don't want to neglect to mention that a prolifically talented Rap/HipHop artist mentored as a youth by Tupac Shakur and currently produced by Skip Saylor is in the running for Kiis fm's Breakout Star Competition for a chance to perform at Wango Tango in May! This would be a BIG deal for any artist, as such names as Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Jamie Foxx and the All American Rejects are set to perform at the event. You can vote one (or both!) of two ways every day until April 17th - by text message or visiting a the url below to find Candyman 187 & The Havenotz near the bottom of the page of videos. In addition to watching the video entered into the Wango Tango contest, you can hear clips of the Skip Saylor produced Candyman 187 & The Havenotz tracks "Revolutionary Suicide" and "Kalifornia Soul" at Skip's myspace page here: http://www.myspace.com/skipsaylor

To vote for Candayman 187 by text messaging, SEND THE FOLLOWING TEXT TO 41027 :
"BREAKOUT" Candyman 187 & The Havenotz

Last thing I want to mention for now is that my longtime fan Vicky Adair has kindly created a new "Lynn Carey Saylor network" over at Ning for my fans and friends and I invite all of you to join that if you'd like.
Here is the URL: http://lynncareysaylor.ning.com/

It's not going to be a site that is ALL about me - I encourage others to upload their own blogs there on the blogs page at http://lynncareysaylor.ning.com/profiles/blog/list
or other content, such as your own videos, on the pages of the network. Promote yourself there or just say what's on your mind - it's all good and welcomed!

Lots of Love & Hugs to ALL and MANY THANKS for your support!!

-LYNN CAREY SAYLOR
